What Is The Best Line Up For A Swing Band?

As we have mentioned in the previous section swing bands are available to hire in many different line ups from solo right up to big band. The line up and size of the band which will suit your party will depend very much on what type of atmosphere you wish to create at your event and the budget you have in mind. Solo and duo line ups will be most suitable for dinner jazz (ie background music which creates a lovely atmosphere but is easy to talk over) the bigger line ups which include drums are best to dance to. We also have some solo players who work with backing tracks in order to give you a full band sound with solo musician budgets and space requirements.
